Listen to a welcome message from Linda:

Each month when I read Mishugas, I laugh, I cry, I identify! Linda Kaufman’s witty and poignant monthly columns for the San Antonio Jewish Journal are a must read first, even before the weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.

Jewish Journal Masthead Barbara Richmond
Editor
The Jewish Journal of San Antonio

It all started five years ago. Linda Kaufman was having lunch with a friend, and they started talking about what they wanted to be “when they grew up.” Linda shared her almost-forgotten dream of being a staff writer for a national magazine.

Her friend, Barbara, just happened to be the editor of the Jewish Journal. Barbara invited her to write an article, promising to publish it if she liked it. Linda’s childhood dream began to come true when Mishugas was born in the fall of 2000.

The stories in Linda’s columns have been favorites with readers since they first appeared.

Now you can enjoy these stories yourself! These stories are now available in audio format as Mishugas Live! You can listen to them wherever you go in CD and MP3 audio format.

Mishugas Live! touches on everything from the Jewish addiction to Chinese food to a thorough examination of “chutzpah” and includes amusing stories about the Jewish fetish of loving to see their names on everything from prayer books to JCC buildings.

You’ll find Linda’s articles to be humorous and informative commentaries on contemporary life. They are popular with both Jewish and non-Jewish readers.

Volume One is available immediately as an audio download in MP3 format, right to your computer. Buy now to enjoy 50 minutes of MishugasLive!’s amusing essays, read by Linda Kaufman.
